MSU-Zamboanga Sibugay proudly celebrates the outstanding performance of its graduates in the October 2026 Professional Forester Licensure Examination, achieving a 94.12% passing rate among first-time takers and an 89.19% overall passing rate, surpassing the national passing rate of 74.31%.

Per Memorandum No. 017 s. 2026 from the Office of the Chancellor, Re: WORK AND CLASS ARRANGEMENTS FOR 05โ€“11 OCTOBER 2026 IN OBSERVANCE OF NATIONAL TEACHERSโ€™ DAY/WORLD TEACHERSโ€™ DAY AND MEDLEMET 2026, MSU-Zamboanga Sibugay shall observe the following class and work arrangement on October 5-11, 2026:

October 5, 2026 - Classes shall be conducted asynchronously. All faculty and staff shall report for work and attend the scheduled Flag Raising Ceremony and National Teachersโ€™ Day/World Teachersโ€™ Day Celebration. Regular office operations shall continue thereafter.

October 6, 2025 - Classes shall be conducted asynchronously to facilitate ground preparation and other activities in connection with Medlemet 2026. All faculty and staff shall report for work and perform their respective duties and assigned preparations.

October 7-11, 2026 - Classes are suspended, including ROTC, in connection with the conduct of Medlemet 2026. Faculty and staff shall continue to report for work on regular working days and perform their respective duties and/or assigned Medlemet activities.

All teaching and non-teaching personnel shall continue to observe regular working hours and perform their respective duties, except on weekends or as may otherwise be authorized under existing University rules and regulations.

This shall only be applied to college and senior high school classes. The Laboratory High School shall observe a different class arrangement.
